“Best of both worlds”
Review of: Bangkok Custom and Private Guided Day Tour Experience by alexnyc01

This was my second trip to Bangkok using Geng’s expertise. This time, I brought my parents, one of which recently had a knee replacement. Geng was most accommodating and made sure she was never left behind, waiting for her to catch up. Geng showed us the best tourist spots as well as local haunts. We went on a day trip outside the city to see the train market, floating market, and the wonderful mangrove forest. We fed monkeys which was such a memorable experience.

Geng adhered to all our requests and provided such unique suggestions to enhance our time in Bangkok. He also ensured we ate delicious local food. Geng brought his humor and knowledge and I cannot recommend him enough!

“Mr Geng was amazing”
Review of: Bangkok Custom and Private Guided Day Tour Experience by Iwan A B

I have seen the best king palaces of Bangkok and discovered during the tour. In addition mr Geng brought me to the most beautiful markets in Bangkok where the local people come. He has shown a lot of knowledge and humor during the tour. Not to mention his secrets hang outs where you can enjoy a good meal or relax. I can certainly recommend mr Geng and thank you very much for the unforgettable tour.

“Explore Bangkok and Beyond with Geng and Mr. Swai from Explorenique for the Best Personalized Days Ever in Bangkok!”
Review of: Bangkok Custom and Private Guided Day Tour Experience by hrs314

From booking to my thousand questions via WhatsApp (thanks, Joy!) to pick up at the airport to our first tour on day 1 with Geng at the Floating and Railroad Markets to our second tour on day 2 (my birthday) temple hopping with Mr. Swai (with his tie) to drop-off at the airport to the fabulous video–Explorenique is the perfect package to help you plan an amazing day, or days, in Bangkok and beyond. They are so kind, knowledgeable, professional and fun. They really listen to what you want and cater your day to make it unforgettable. You will be able to maximize both your time and your Baht while creating priceless memories (that may make it to your video later on…)

Joy is such a “joy” to work with in the planning stages. She was great with helping us to coordinate our airline schedules, plan tour days and gave us suggestions that helped us create an outline for what we wanted to see. When email was not working, we worked around our 12 hour time difference across continents and communicated via WhatsApp. She is A+++. Thanks, Joy! You are a treasure.

Next team member is our driver extraordinaire, Mr. Krit, who picked us up in a fabulous oversized Toyota minibus with refreshing ice cold water, three rows of comfy leather seats, lots of luggage room and A/C which was great in the sweltering heat. We felt so safe as he literally took us all over Bangkok and beyond from airport to hotel to markets and temples and stopped as needed for breaks. I have never seen so many 7-Elevens in my life. Thanks, Mr. Krit.

Geng also met us at the airport to make sure that everything was well orchestrated. The next morning, he met us bright and early to take us on the most amazing day. Our tour was so diverse going from the Maeklong Railway Market to the Damnoen Saduak Floating Market to the Bang Kung Temple hidden in the trees to a floating restaurant to a mall with over 1300 stores. We travelled through banana and coconut fields, saw salt extraction ponds and were given an amazing lesson in Thai history, culture and culinary flavors. Loved trying the little treats like fresh pomelos from a cute vendor on a boat to sticky rice desserts at the floating market that Geng treated us to throughout the day. He is so thoughtful, funny, considerate and warm. He even mapped our journey via BTS from the Mall to our hotel step by step to make sure that we got back safely after shopping.

The next morning, but not quite so early, we met Mr. Swai…in his tie. Such a sweet guide who really immersed us in the religious meaning behind the Wats that we visited. Loved how he navigated the river using express boats and local ferries, but also how we used the local busses and crisscrossed through neighborhoods and levees to see more local and intimate sites. Interesting to see not only the Grand Palace and Wat Phra Kaeo, Wat Pho and Wat Arun, but also Queen Sirikit’s Museum of Textles and the amazing Wat Kalayanamit Varamahavihara that we would not have seen without Mr. Swai. He also introduced us to restaurant led by a chef that worked at the palace. Check out Mae Yui River Café near the Yodpiman Flower Market in the River Walk. Plus, he told us jokes and puns all day that kept our family entertained!!

Geng, Joy, Mr. Swai and Mr. Kit have really created the PERFECT team to make your trip to Bangkok the BEST day ever. Thanks for a great trip to Bangkok!

“Great time touring Old City Bangkok!”
Review of: Bangkok Custom and Private Guided Day Tour Experience by seresaod

We had a fantastic time with Mr. Tee touring Old City Bangkok. He was so friendly and accommodating and very knowledgeable about Bangkok and Thailand. You can tailor your experience and they can also suggest worthwhile attractions. We saw the Grand Palace and three to four Wats including Wat Pho. Awesome way to see Bangkok!

“Truly local & unique experience with Mr Swai”
Review of: Bangkok Custom and Private Guided Day Tour Experience by Joey L

To be honest, this is not the first time I’ve visited Bangkok but definitely one of the best experience ever with Swai. We can feel the passion he had in his work, he absolutely is a hardworking guide with a kind soul. Not only will he stop to offer assistance to lost tourists on the way, he goes way beyond what he is paid for. Swai would share his own experiences and additional stories he’d know about each attraction that you’ll never know if you read them online. Thank you for the hardwork & patient, Swai !

“AWESOME TOURGUIDE AWESOME DAY”
Review of: Bangkok Custom and Private Guided Day Tour Experience by MelateM1

We spent the day with Mr Tee. He was so accommodating from the beginning, as we were running late on the way from the airport. He was very understanding and helped put together an awesome first day for first time visitors.

He was patient and v aware of our needs especially when walking around as a group. He made sure he was always ahead of us and guiding our route. Also Mr T had a great sense of humor. He has a very good knowledge of the main sights and guided our transactions with merchants.

He was also very respectful and made sure to vacate his seat for women and elderly on the train.

A lovely, polite, thoughtful tour guide overall. Appreciate his time very much. Thank you Mr T!

“Great Way to Get Antiquated – Bangkok Tuk Tuk Sunset Longtail Night Lights Tour” by Larry B

Geng was a great tour guide. It was a full packed afternoon/evening. Fast pasted but you get to see, learn and taste much. Don’t be tempted to fill up too early, there are so many good treats throughout the tour. The experience Geng has about the city and culture combined with his contacts and great English made the tour even better.

“One night in Bangkok? – do this tour” by Jon R

I’ve been to Bangkok many times – and seen quite a bit – this tour was excellent – it flowed well, we saw, ate, smelled, walked and got a real sense of what makes Bangkok such a great city – highly recommend the long tail/tuk-tuk/sunset walking tour.

“Amazing experience with an amazing guide” by Mila M

We had two tours with Explorenique: Khlong Lad Mayom Floating Tour and Tuk Tuk Sunset Night Light Tour, and were extremely satisfied with both.

It was our first time in Bangkok and our guide Geng helped us to not only find some hidden locations and see things thatt most tourists never experience, but also to learn a lot aobut the history of Bangkok and Thailand. He told us all the secrets and interesting details about the places we visited and also gav us some tips and inspiration on how to spend the rest of our visit.During all this we had some of the best local food, and lots of it, so don’t eat before you take the tour 🙂

Both tours were fun and dynamic, but also friendly and relaxed, so you don’t really have a feeling like you are on a guided tour but rather like having a day out with a friend.

Would definitely recommend to anyone!

“A wonderful truely off the beaten path in Bangkok” by Madelyn K

For those who want to see the REAL Bangkok. Traditional foods, local life,

After being to Bangkok before I have spent a lot of time exploring the wonderful city and fell in love with it the first time I arrived. But my second time in Bangkok I wanted to see the party of the city and the local life, behind the stalls of elephant pants and massages and tourist.
It’s easy to find some good street stalls on your own- just wander down pretty much any street and you’ll find some- but to find the really best ones you need to know where to go. With Gege he will take you right to them and you will sample some of the best Thai food and street snacks Bangkok has to offer.
Not only does he have impeccable English, he really loves his city and you can really tell in the pride he takes throughout the tour. He will also take you to his secret beauty spots that are hidden all over the city (some only reachable by boat). Not only the spots for tasty treats but to see the heart of Bangkok, far away from the well trodden path. You will experience hidden temples, the best spot to watch sunset over the city, markets where the locals do their shopping, crazily bidding over flowers, shouting orders, eating and laughing.
A true experience in Bangkok is to travel by tuk tuk and in the evening -when the city comes alive- you really feel what an amazing atmosphere this city has.
I had a wonderful time on the tour with Gene, he’s a wonderfully entertaining character and he introduced to me another side of Bangkok and Thai life I would never have experienced without.
